The Bankruptcy Court has set the following deadlines for filing proofs of claim against the Debtors:

  • General Bar Date (all creditors other than Governmental Units): December 22, 2015
  • Governmental Unit Bar Date: January 11, 2016

The December 22, 2015 general claims bar date for filing proofs of claims in Sabine’s pending bankruptcy cases applies only to those entities, including individuals, partnerships, estates, and trusts who have a claim or potential claim—no matter how remote or contingent such claim may be—against Sabine that arose before July 15, 2015. To the extent that such entities only  have claims arising only  after July 15, 2015, or their only prepetition claims have already been satisfied by Sabine as a result of Court approval or other means, no proof of claim needs to be filed. There may be a deadline established later in the chapter 11 cases for the filing of claims arising after  July 15, 2015.
